Elm Tree Cottage can be found in the charming fellside village of Culgaith, right in the heart of the Eden Valley and the at the foot of the Pennine range. Sleeps 6 people
The Vale of Eden is ideally situated for touring. The Lake District is right on the doorstep and after just a short journey north lies the city of Carlisle. A little further on you will find the famous blacksmiths anvil at Gretna Green. From there it is over the border into Scotland's Southern Uplands of Dumfries and Galloway, the land of Robert Burns, and views across the Solway Firth. Just to the east of Carlisle you will find the roman remains of Hadrians Wall, which marks the northern edge of the Roman occupation of Britain.
