We are ideally located within the walls of historic York.
All of our rooms are en suite and we have a wide variety of rooms ranging from singles, doubles, twins, family rooms to a large four poster Jorvik room and our new superior studio rooms. All of our rooms offer flat screen televisions with freeview channels available. Each room also has tea/coffee making facilities.

By Car
York is only a few miles off the A1 London to Edinburgh highway and is easily accessible from the M1 and M62 motorways. Driving time from London or Edinburgh is about 3- 4 hours.
Whichever direction you approach York from you will arrive at the outer ring road. Go onto the ring road and take the shortest circuit to the A1079 York - Hull junction.
Take the turn off signposted York A1079 and then drive along this road for 2.4 miles, until you see the old Bar Walls at the traffic lights. Take the right hand lane, but do not turn right, you can go straight on with the bar on your left (signposted Walmgate access only). 500 yards down Walmgate you will have to turn left on a one way system and you will then see St Denys Hotel on your left. Our residents car park is on the right hand side of the Hotel.
