The town centre with speciality shops, restuarants and Cumbrian pubs is just a 5 minute walk along the banks of the river.Easy access to the National Parks and other tourist attractions

This charming property is suitable for 2 people (plus cot). The upstairs lounge features a lantern ceiling with beams, rugs on a wooden floor and a fully equipped kitchen and dining area. French windows from the lounge open up to take in views of the river, cricket pitch, church & ancient bridge.

Conveniently situated in a central location for touring The Dales, The Lake District & the scenic Settle/Carlisle railway (the train stops in Appleby). Golf, fishing, pony trekking, tennis cycling and swimming all available locally.

Beautifully decorated in Scandinavian style, this property is perfect for that special break.

The Pump house is available for 2/3 night weekend breaks. For longer breaks please contact us. Welcome packs can be orderd prior to arrival with payment by credit card. Deposit for key, excess cleaning and damage requires a credit card number left on collection of the key

Directions to The Pump House

From M6 Junction 38 Tebay: follow signs for B6260 to Orton & Appleby

From A1 Scotch Corner: take A66 signs for Penrith. Take Appleby turnoff.

From Appleby town centre - go over the bridge and travel alongside the river (on your left). Take the footpath along the river bank and before you get to the woodland walk - the Pump House is on your right hand side.
